Because they dont like muslimz. And maybe some muslims are bad, they deserve to be called terrorists, it doesnt mean that islam is bad or islam teaches them to be like that.
Dont know you know in quran allah says, non-muslimz will never be your friends, they will try to your friend from top but in real they are your enemy # one. If you dont do what they do, they will never be happy with you. So what do enemies do to enemies, try every way possible to humiliate and ruin the basis and other aspects that hold you and your religion and people together weak.

And here we're gonna share experiences where the big, bad America has discriminated against us based on the clothing we wear.
Instead of looking for something and/or someone to bash can we not talk about how we can force the media to change the way they portray us?
Instead of sharing bad experiences, can we not talk about what we have done to change such perceptions? Perhaps we could post solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

Yes, I believe that it's wrong for someone to discriminate against others based on their attire.
No, I don't think that it happens only in America. It also happens in Europe, South America and the Far East.
The controversy is not in Islam. It is in the way Islam has been portrayed by the media. It is the fault of the few that have disgraced Islam.
I take exception to your suggestion that we share experiences simply to "see how americans act towards us".
We should focus on sharing experiences on how we have managed to overcome this obstacle. This way we all will learn how to prevent the same from happening to us.

because they know and are terrified that the TRUTH is not about them and that the Truth is the one told by the Quran and the Holy Prophet(pbuh).
They just can’t tolerate that and are trying to change things and signs. They think that way their end will be different than whats told by the messenger of Allah regarding the end times…what they don’t like to acknowledge is that they just can’t win. In the end it will be how Allah wants, and they’ll be the losers. But they try hard to change that by killing and villifying muslims.

It isn’t only Americans, many people in European countries share this opinion that ‘all’ Muslims are terrorists. I’m a Dutch Pakistani and even last year, one of the men in charge at work waited for me to enter the room, the minute I sat down he changed topics and started saying how Muslims just attacked Paris (without mentioning muslim victims in muslim countries by those same terrorists), and he ended with saying it’s ‘always’ muslims who commit such terrible acts. (where was he when Breivik murdered many people . . . ) I was the only Muslim working there at the time. I’ve been used to discrimination and racism against me since I was a child, that didn’t hurt as much as what he said and how he said it. His words equated muslim victims of terrorism with their terrorist murderers, his words insulted the memory of innocent non-violent muslims who were killed by terrorists. His words felt like the death of muslims killed by terrorism doesn’t matter, only the death of non-muslim white people matters. The reality is that for decades more muslims are being killed by those same and other terrorists than non-muslims . . .
Every era has a certain people who are disliked or even hated by most. It seems now is the era to hate muslims. The media doesn’t help of course. One example, after 9/11 many many muslims protested world wide against that WTT attack (I personally don’t believe the official story, if you do, read the work of people like Enver Masud, it’s available online, just google his name), even in New York many protested against terrorism. Yet most muslim haters keep lying how ‘no muslim ever condemns an attack’. Usually the media shows the minority of muslims who do have horrible opinions and commit terrible acts, and tells people this is what the majority of muslims believe and do. That doesn’t help. People don’t even realise that if all muslims were terrorists, by now, we’d all be dead, if we were all killers, by now we would have murdered everybody. Using that logic doesn’t always help making them understand reality. When I tell non-muslims that quran doesn’t teach to kill non-muslims, they either tell me I’m lying to them or they tell me I don’t understand my religion. Even after I show them the many verses of the quran.
It’s just the way it is for now. Unfortunately.
