ive seen a lot of average looking women settle down with average looking guys and claim they did it because of his 'inner qualities'.
They wouldnt say its bcos they were the ones in their league..their equivalents.

you can belittle the point ive made if you want to, but you'll most likely agree with me that, barring the arrange marriage thing, most women do end up with more or less their equivalents in terms of looks. yet they tend to attribute their choice to factors other than looks. as if they had to compromise on or overlook them.
for instance you'll see many avg/ok looking women claiming they prefer personality over good looks any day. but they tend to forget they dont have good looks themselves so theyre not doing some favor to men ! just saying.
