Why digi chat does not work for me?

I always get this Error Dialogue Box which says:

"No response was received from the Server. The DigiChat Server may not be running, or may not be a compatible version. Please contact the administrator in charge of the site.

java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out"

What do I do now? Any solution? Its been long time now, please solve this mystery.

u might be behind a firewall..

Some of the stuff is behind firewall that's what admin says, now I don't know what stuff he is talking about. I am using LAN. But chat isn't behind it I guess.
