A stupid question? Perhaps. But it seems to be the only important question to me right now.
Re: Why did you choose to keep living?
Im scared of death.
Re: Why did you choose to keep living?
most people dont need to make that choice. for those seriously contemplating that question, I would suggest professional therapy in addition to whatever people post here.

Laayi Hayat Aye
Kaza lay chali chalay
Apni Khuashee na Aye
Na Apni Khushee Chalay
Like Zauq said so eloquently!
Re: Why did you choose to keep living?
because God wants me to and theres no reason to end it
Re: Why did you choose to keep living?
Because life is a gift from God, and to throw it away is an insult to Him. Does not matter what religion you follow, I think this holds true.

hmmmmmmm
you know once I suffered from some thing. I use to take pills. I bought them with all my the money I had. I use to sleep 16 hrs a day. hmmmmmm
I thought I was going to die. I want to be intoxicated till the time I thought I was going to die(like in a month are 2) -- (ppl said I had blackMagic spell --shrinks said acute depression)
Dude I did not die!!! BUT I got F-en bored of pills and being syht scared 24/7
I go to my self "WTF". Then I started running/punching and started dating a chick.(pakistani style---not too too deep)
You every thing else fell in the place it self. Living/surviving/fighting(for survival) was like redefined for me. From that point on.
hmmmmm
I dont know the reason why we want to live, BUT some where down in our soul we are animal too.
And animals have natural instinct to LIVE. And fight for survival.
If some thing touch that button in side you, you will never ask such a question!!!!!

Nice sentiment, but I gotta ask. Is life also a gift for people dying of disease and malnutrition etc... Or how about people with severe cerebral palsy, who are unable to move and cant speak, is life a gift for them aswell?
If life is a gift from god, I hope god had the good sense to keep the receipt!
Personally, I think the fact that we dont REALLY know what comes next, and there is possibility this life is all there is, we better make the most of it.
Another words, lets not squander what time we are given, because we may not have another chance.

I believe that what you get in this life is a result of your actions in your previous life. I know that as a Muslim you probably disagree, but that is fine :) Euthanasia is a complex topic, and I dont think there is a right or wrong answer.

That is where one's faith/religion comes in. My faith tells me something about "what next". I am sure your religion does that too. I agree that we should make the most of this life, since what comes next depends on what we make of this one.
