Forget crying, I think desis don't keep their kids clean. Every so often I get to see dirty desi babies. Nose running, dirty clothes, and God knows what else.
Why? Because parents don't seem to care. They're too busy with other stuff to even care about what their kid's up to.

Because our desi kids are used to being carried in their parents ke haath that when you put em down they start their freak*n baan baan again. It doesn't annoy me though, but hopefully I won't let anyone put this fazool aadat to my kid(s).

That's exactly what happened at work today!
Dad had his son in his arms. He had to put him down for a brief second to pay for his stuff and the kid started crying. The kid wouldn't stop and by then they had walked out of the store.
Quite often desi kids are not only spoiled but unclean too. :s

There was once this aunty who came over at our house for dinner and she has this little kid who's like 5 or 6 and she still doesn't tell her amma when she needs to go do her business. She has this bladder problem though but still she's old enough to tell her parents that she needs to go to the washroom. Khair, we understand she has the problem but her amma doesn't care much sometimes. That day the kid goes to the washroom and does her thing there and doesn't flush it away but the amma was still sitting with all others busy in chit chatting. Atlast our poor little washroom start stinking like anything! We kept wondering what this weird smell is...and then my mom checked the washroom and there she saw...u know what...in the toilet. And she told the kid's amma to keep a check on her kid. Gosh!..our ladies need to take a parenting class before they go crazy giving birth to dass bachay!
Yes, that's very common.
Reminds me, at work once this old uncle had to use the bathroom. It was a mess after, as it was all over the floor.
Plus, desi kids use the bathroom under their parents' supervision, yet the parents can't be bothered to flush it off or make sure the kids are not messing up the floor.
Yes, many desi parents need parenting classes.
