Re: Why cry over the death of our worst enemy?
Ok … I changed the word Bacha khan, sorry if anyone took me wrongly.
As for carpet bombing, that was to be in my post as just phrase. It only meant bombing to extreme by our own air force … else army moving in without backed by extreme bombing will cost lots of army men’s lives that is not needed when dealing with these thugs. No doubt before bombing government can do everything for innocent civilians to move out of the area.
As for negotiations and yielding any result, that is what I want to know … what is at stake when negotiating with these Kharjees, what government can offer them in return for peace?
I do not think these TTP Kharjees want money (they can get that anyhow without giving anything for it)
I do not think these TTP Kharjees want land to live independently (if that is what they want, Independence of area they dominate, then government should give them straightaway).
I do not think these TTP Kharjees are worried about TTP men government have arrested and keep them in prison (they can attack prisons and get them free anyhow).
I do not think these TTP Kharjees really want peace anyhow … so what peace one can talk with them?
As for negotiating under Pakistan’s constitution … what that means when negotiation can happen under laws both agree … while Taliban do not even recognize Pakistani constitution, Pakistani courts or Pakistani parliament.
What I believe, these TTP Kharjees want imposition on Pakistan the laws they believe … and make their leader Ameer-ul-Momaneen of Pakistan … where Ameer means Kharjee sardar … and Momaneen means persecuted Pakistanis.
