Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

Him or yourself should have wherewithal and resources to travel. Then travel to France and travel through Balochistan. Talk to people instead of staying in the mosques like those Tabligi fakirs / darvishes.

Unlike you I have travelled and lived in Balochistan relatively recently

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

wow very nice!..tell us about the rain and rivers? is it realy dryier than rest of pak??

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

Hmmm! you think I learned about Balochistan by googling just like our noor from Paris learned about St. Malo? Oh wait! She did watch some documentaries in addition to doing googling.

TRD accept it! You are stumped with the topic of this thread. That is why you and your sidekick Malakand are turning this into a personal issue.

Discuss ideas bud. Tell us why Balochistan is not producing cheese and fruit products like France?

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

mister shah of pakistan with your billion dollars you've been everywhere....so tell us WHY:D

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

Seems like all Afghani Kubulis run like heck when it comes to developing Balochistan. They all would rather see Quetta burn just like Afghani Jannat in Kandhar, Kabul, and Jalalabad.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

No one wants to see Quetta burn, and there are no Kabuli commie around here. Maybe what Chaman has lets utilize that first, and maximise its avalilable resources, or potential resources.

Delete RD's posts from this thread and we have a thread that delivers!

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

For the same reason why NWFP couldn’t produce wheat grain until recently. Balochistan is the most denied Sarha’d in Pakistan by the government. What channels did you get your info through Mask man if not google???

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

Any links to the claim you made? or did that came out of your knowledge box too.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

Take a wild guess lol

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

King and Shah is like Ek Karela doosra Neem charrah. Kabuli Kommies have flamed hate and anarchy in Afghanistan. The same $hite has now shown up in Wazirastan and Kohlu.

Thanks to Pak army, these beardos and Kommies are on the run. Otherwise, Kohat, Bannu and Peshwar will turn into picture perfect copy of the Afghan Jannat so prevelant in Jalalabad, Kabul, and Kandhar.

I think Kabulis want more so now they are inviting Bharati army in addition to Americans, Dutch, and on an on.

No nation has lost its @$$ to so many rulers in such a short time like Afghanis. Utter shameful.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

Coming from a guy covered in mask, same thing right…my nick, ur AVatar. Besides, for all I know is you are just censored by moderator sitting in you corner.

What exactly was the involvement of these Kabuli koomies and Pak army in Wazirastan??? can you please reiterate on this.

Kohat, cause basically large part of defense sectors lies there…they have done no favour to the land.

As for peshawer, as until now they were even denied the right to migrate grain between punjaab and NWFP.

And the reason why they have lost so many leaders is because our govenment creates and destroys these possibly jahil people, just like they created the Talibans and destroyed them. Same goes for using them in battlefield in Kashmir when the our army is creating danm nice bellies. The fact is that our army is a name, nothing else. Yet we are trying to compare ourselves to India.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

why doesn’t fruit grow in barren land covered with rugged mountains?!!

and you think you know enough to comment on the intricacies of Pakistan when you don’t even know this?..unbelievable

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

For those of you who cannot affort time or money (or both), here are few quotes from the description of Balochistan. Read this and decide if Balochistan is a worthless barren land or “the fruit basket of Pakistan”. Kabulis may think otherwiese, but Balochistan is a great place for orchids, vinyards, and berries.

**
------Quetta can rightly be called the fruit basket of Pakistan. Plums, peaches, pomegranates, apricots, apples, some unique varieties of melon, cherries, pistachios and almonds are all grown in abundance. Some pistachios also grow in Qila Saif Ullah.
****------Saffron grows very well on mountains around 5000 ft (1524 metres) high. It is being cultivated on a commercial scale here. The yellow and red varieties of tulip grow wild around Quetta.

**------Apple orchards are spread over nearly 4416 acres in and around Ziarat. The apple grown in these orchards, particularly the black and red kulu variety are delicious. A fair amount of black cherry is also grown in Ziarat. The cherry season lasts from the 1st to 15th of June.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

And you said you don't get all you info by googling?!

As mentioned previously, you cannot get the knowldege of a land by the net, you need to go there and see for yourself.
Every place has at least some agriculture that can be written about.

You especially really need to be smarter and realize your info comes from an official govt site.

I'm sure you have seen pictures of rural Balochistan, very similar to Afghanistan, that alone should answer your queries.

Some advice - when you make a mistake, and have been proved wrong by facts, don't beat your head against a wall trying to show how you are right.

It will get you nowhere. Just admit it,learn from it and move on.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

sir edit your post balochistan is the most denied PROVINCE and not city just for the record.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like France

Antioble, no ones doubting the ability of Balochistan. Have you ever considered what opportunities has teh government given Baluchistan.

This might help ease u a bit, if you have time to read. You still havent provided me any involvement of Kabuli koomies.

How did the Balochistan problem start?

It’s a problem that started many decades ago, and sparked the insurgencies of the Baloch nationalists in 1948, 1958-59, 1962-63 and 1973-77—all of which the army suppressed. In the 1970s, the Baloch nationalists were ousted from power by the Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto government, upon which they launched an armed struggle to reclaim power. In the 1980s and 1990s, they were part of the democratic landscape under the governments of Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif. However, since the 1999 military takeover, they have been excluded from power in the province. The subsequent standoff between the government and Baloch nationalists has broken into warfare from time to time. What has sparked off the recent crisis is the contention of the Balochis that the province is being militarised, cantonments are being set up in the name of development, and that the real motive is to completely take over the natural resources of Balochistan, particularly in Kohlu and Dera Bugti.

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

Sorry sir. Sarha’d

Re: Why Chaman is not Bordeaux, and Balochistan is not a tourist destination like Fra

Finally you accept that Balochistan does have agriculture. Wasn't that hard! You shouldn't have sulked in an Afghani style.
