Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

I am so glad that you are reading the official history by India-pray tell me who it states started the 1965 war??

Pakistan ofcourse.

Hope you are not too lazy to read that, otherwise I can always send you the link!!

Back to my topic: "Why call it Defence day-when it based on a lie.

Call it Army Day or something else"

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

I think this guy has been having too much desi daru

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Thanks for the longggggg paste-so how come after all these so called lapses by the Indian army, Pakistan lost more territory & strategic passes and settled for a Cease fire.?!

I was waiting for your comments on that malhot but your reply is best described by a desi proverb:

**" Khisyani Billi Khamba Nochay":p :p **

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

How does this describe you: Ulta chor kotwal ko dante.

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

That sounds GREAT, if ONLY it had made some sense.

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Pakistan attacked india in 1965. Agreed.

Pakistan calls this attack: Defence Day. Agreed.

This is based on a lie: Agreed.

Thus: Ulta chor Korwal ko Dante

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Here repeat this over and over until it penetrates..

1) Pakis did not cross the IB, EVER...not in 65 not in 89 and not today.
2) Go to #1

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Pakistan never recognized Indian Kashmir as Indian so crossing it cant be considered act of aggression:)
Besdies, Indian policy led to the War, we only protected our intrests... Thats called defense

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

not bad even if I say so myself...any more name guys? ahsan? mo? mysterious?

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

The Pakistan Army has been fooling it's people into believing that it has won all wars with India(whereas it lost ALL its wars with India!!!)

First you fed it (PA) all you had, now it's still not content and feeds on you (controls the Govt, Big businesses, policies and even the best civilian jobs).

Defence Day-is another manifestation of it's imagination.

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

The key difference is that in Operation Gibraltar Pakistan violated no internationally recognised borders.

In 1965, and 1971, India initiated violation of internationally recognised borders. Hence Defence Day marks the defence of Pakistan's border.

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Please read what your esteemed generals have to say about the 65 war. A simple google search would help...

Now back to the topic once more...

WHO CROSSED TH INTERNATIONAL BORDER?

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Pakistan Army has been fooling it’s people??? Why didn’t you comment on your Indian historians twisting the history to an extent that it’s disgraceful to say the least. for e.g
“Even with our bigger wars, propaganda myths created in the course of the engagements are then perpetuated for decades. In the 22-day war in 1965, for example, as schoolchildren we were taught that the Pakistani pilots were so scared of the tiny Gnat that they fled the moment they spotted one”

I would like to know your opinion on this, if this is what you are taught as school children then i don’t see how an Indian can question our military and it’s propagandas.

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

^please refer to former PAF chief Air Marshal Nur Khan's confessions from a few months ago. he stated that the whole of Pakistan was fed propaganda that India had started the war and that Pakistan was a victim of Indian aggression. naturally there would be propaganda, but this is a clear admission of who the instigator was.

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

No, that's one man's opinion.

Tell me, in 1965, which was the first country to launch an attack across an internationally recognised border?

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

come on bro, you and i both know that formalities don’t change the bottom line. unless you believe that jawans wearing shalwars somehow constitute a totally independent entity from the Pak army in uniform, then you can acknowledge that India was attacked by Pakistan, one way or another. the infiltrated territories were regarded and continually referred to as enemy territory, not some neutral fighting playground. India was being attacked.

if Sept. 6th started the war, what the hell was going on in mid-August? India repelling its own shadow? again, technicalities over which border was international or ceasefire line or de facto, etc. are irrelevant. common sense is the most accurate measure.

just answer me one simple question - which country instigated the war of 1965…India or Pakistan?

Re: Why call it 'Defence Day"

Just answer one question:
Indians jal kiu rahay hain?
