I have come across some so called members on this forum who look down upon cafe posters & make fun of them & their posts just because they choose to post in this particular forum, why is that? Do they think they are some superior creatures as they post in other forums but cafe?

Not everyone looks down upon cafe crowed.. but yes there are some aqbaat- na’andeesh Guppies who do no like cafe crowed. Cafe needs energy and they are too old.

Holy thinks GS has taken a wrong turn. Its a Pakistan related site. Its flagship should be culture, literature, poetry etc. Yea there is a science section too. How about history or even health? All dead. I opened one thread in history and it hardly got few posts. Had it been cafe, it could be a chit chat and got flooded.
Thats where the difference is. May be GS needs more posters from Pakistan or those who are strongly attached with Pakistan rather confused and messed up Pardesis.

Answer is quite simple. Since Cafe has the largest number of posters, The Whole ground floor was assigned to cafe posters. While two forums shared one floor, occupying the remaining 6 floors in the Gupshup building.

A long time ago, the bulk of the deeper discussions took place in the other forums, especially in the Life1 forum. Sometimes the threads would derail, but even the derailment was somehow linked to the topic. Even when the threads took a cacophonous turn, it still contained a richness, a fire, to it. Cafe, on the other hand (at that time), would start off with an inane topic and then only a few posts later, it would derail into something totally irrelevant. By the 49th page, the interactions have nothing at all to do with the topic. I don’t think it’s the Cafe’ites themselves that were looked down upon, rather it was the forum that was viewed in a comical light. Members used to sometimes joke that a thread (in the Life forum or elsewhere) was heading in a Cafe’esque direction…meaning without direction…inanity. Every forum has its own feel and flow to it. Now, the tables have turned. It’s the Cafe forum that is seeing more traffic than Life 1.

I can assure you guyz, GS still has far more traffic than most of the community based forums would die for. and the credit goes to ALL of the posters. You are the true gem and these threads are the greatest asset we’ve got as a result.
There is no way anyone can look down upon anyone cuz it just doesnt make any sense. And if they do, its their own loss.

world is full of colors (Humans).. and no one can judge anyone completely on a website.. you cant see anyone’s personality, wisdom, living standard, status, life style by just posting, reading, writing.. and looking up or down on anyone is nothing but a poor mentality.. however, those people are a part of this world.. this website is a small example.. you’ll face millions of people like that in daily routine.. you cant change people.. but the only thing you can do is to improve yourself for others..
and also, open your heart for everyone no matter how they are..

Well I do believe that some people come here & choose to post in cafe section because they had a long hectic day & may be they just want to relax by posting something fun in the cafe forum, may be thats their way of relaxing… but some people on this forum think so high of themselves & got attitude issues, they think people who post in cafe have no brain & they are the only ones who are contributing & doing something constructive on this forum while others are wasting time with their khee khee khooooo khaaa khaa …oh my God !!!

hahaha, maybe they are right.. there are way better ways for relaxing and all.. 
however, talking about people you know is not a good thing.. Maybe you’ll agree with a saying.. “Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, and small minds discuss people”..
