I think the players earn enough money so there is no way they will lose because of money, they earn millions and millions per year. Even if there was money involved (highly unlikely), there will be nothing less than $1 billion on offer to fix a game.

I dont think soccer matches are fixed. They get enough fame/money already (agree with mysterious_guy).
