only in our society. Both in USA and in U.K., there are conservative as well as liberal religious and political groups, and people take pride to be part of one of them without being labeled as backward

In other words people in our cultures have inferiority complex or they are easy target of other cultures who can impose their superiority on them to promote their culture and values in our societies.
