Another attack on Police convoy resulted in 30 odd deaths. We all know who’s behind these attack, the Mullahtic loonies of Pakistan. Where are the moderate clerics and why aren’t they denouncing such attacks against the country?
Have Pakistanis forgotten what talebans did in afgi? They stripped the citizens of all liberties.
It’s time that moderate clerics in Pakistan join with the country and denounce the extremism of Mullahtic Loonies!
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
they are behind it so why would they condemn it? this suicide bombing first started against the shias in pakistan and now even military/security personal arent safe...its basically dada giri...agree with them or get ready to die...how can you protect yourself against the suicide bombers? i just dont know
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
Sheraz, its wrong to generalize everyone with a beard and say they r all supporting suicide attacks. There r quite a few religious scholars who condemn it. In fact I believe Council of Islamic Ideology has already stated that suicide attacks r unislamic.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
Flame of Life, there may be some clerics denouncing these killings of innocent people, but they are not vocal. Those making most hue and cry, and those most mobile are those clerics who don't give a dime about killing common folks.
It's a sad reality. It is not generalization. It is the correct assessment.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
they are either planning these attacks or they have soft spot for these suicide bombers..i am sure there are good ones as well but they need to keep condemning these attacks out loud...this problem isnt going away anytime soon
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
I'm left speechless by the irresponsible behaviour of not just the politicians and media at times, and often even govt ineptitude, but most by the duplicity, selfishness and deception games perpetually being played by the religious leaders. Their duplicity and self-centeredness will cause great damage...this is time for the first time for them to do somthng for Pakistan, and so far theyre failing atit by choice due to greater passion for persoal agendas...
I hope they all, slacking gopvt officials, selfish politicians and Mullah leaders all realize that when suicide bombing spreads, it does not discriminate between Army walla, PMLQ, PMLN, MQM, PPP, PTI, ANP, MMA walaa...it just strikes where there are lots ofinnocent people and all these respective fraternities and their loved ones get killed and blown up to bits together and alike...their blood mixes and is shed as innocent Pakistani human blood only...whoever can save a drop should save it now...
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
sheraz is right, our religious-political folks go on rampages when somerthing gets their pagg in a twist but in tis case they are silent..I mean they dont want to impact their vote bank I guess.
The sensible folks enevr supported such goons, and dont get heard anyways I suppose
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
religio-political mullah's..sure they r biased and have an axe to grind but I don't think they were topic of discussion here. LuxuryItem referred to clerics as a whole in his post and that is what I was responding to.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
^^ no body means "clerics as a whole". It is the reputation of a group that we all talk about.
If Indians are said to be Computer Gurus, no body is trying to ignore the masses in Bombay slums who don't even have a pair of nickers to cover their @r$es.
If French are considered excellent chefs, no body assumes the whole French nation of 80 million walks around wearing aprons.
If Toyota is given high rating for reliable cars, no one assumes that every car that rolls off of assembly line is going to be the best of the best.
Mullahs have this reputation of being cultist terrorists or abusers of little boys. That doesn't mean every Mullu sitting in darkened hojra has little boy or an AK-47 on his lap.
Just like there are Indians who don't know much about computers,
Just like some French who have no Fing idea about making a good sauce
Just like some Toyota cars are lemon
There are few Mullus around who are peaceful.
So there is no need to defend Mullus that not all Mullus are terrorists. We know, and the world knows about that tiny section of cultists who may not be violent suiciders.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
Sure. But that argument then negates the whole idea of "moderate and conservative islam". Also, if we agree to ur premise, what do we do about the differences between "liberal politicians" and "conservative politicians". Politicians, they all are.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
Moderate Islam has nothing to do with Mulloos. No main-stream Mullah is at the forefront of moderate Islam. Any moderate with a beard is termed Pervazi, or Ghami-daa-ee by these UK settled Super-Muslims. You don't have to go far to figure this out. Just click over to the religious forum and you will be given all sorts of gory details against the "Mod Muslims".
This off course is a sad situation. No one wants their "minister" the guy with a white color to be associated with terror. But the things have gone really bad, all thanks to the cultist followers of Ben-La-Deen.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
So how many of the above denounce suicide attacks in Iraq aginast USA and Iraqi forces? Sadly, there is a parallel, first army or occupied forces kill and when they retaliate they say.. look they are terrorists.. in both cases suicide bombing is un-islamic and ruthless but some cant take un-justice and try unconventional methods..
ISLAMABAD, July 15: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal and Ittehad Tanzeemat Deenia (ITMD), a conglomerate of five Wafaqul Madaris, on Sunday called upon the government to immediately reopen Lal Masjid and allow academic activities in Jamia Hafsa.
Speaking at a meeting, MMA and ITMD leaders linked the sudden jump in suicide attacks in Fata and the NWFP to the Lal Masjid operation.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, MMA secretary-general Maulana Fazlur Rahman said the religious leadership was of the view that Pakistan was not the right place for suicide bombing and militant activities to achieve political objectives, including enforcement of Sharia.
Replying to a question, he said they were in a position to influence the youth to shun their extremist activities. The Maulana said: “We are against troop deployment in the NWFP’s settled areas as the provincial government had made it clear on the federal government that it was capable to handle any situation.”
Re: Why Aren’t Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
Maddy bhai, why to lap up the lies of Mullus. Their munafiqat (double tongue) is all over this article.
They are against suicide bombing in “Pakistan” What about UK, or Iraq, or Afghanistan? If the Mad-suiciders are bad for Pakistan, they are bad everywhere.
On a quick turnaround of these two-tongue Mulloos (TTM) are “against the troop deployment”. So how in the hell we’ll stop the Mullu inspired terrorism without troop deployment? Are we going to post Ninjas at the border of Wazirastan?
And let’s not defend these TTMs’ the truly mean to harm the republic. J.R. Gizzi has clearly shown that most of these mullahs are held hostage by even bigger terrorists. The terrorists will make sure that no Mullu leaves their “iron grip” alive.
It is time that we put every Mullah in camps and for their own protection. As long they are out their making speeches, they will remain vulnerable to the Uzbeks, or Pushtoons, or Arab terrorists.
Re: Why Aren't Clerics Denouncing Attacks By Mullahtic Loonies
The Mullahs say one thing on TV, another on radio, a third in their columns in publications and the papers publish different news on their 'real' views.
How much good can that do for us? I can only imagine what hidden message this sends to the radicals...
