Why are you against Amils charging but not against doctors?

Re: Why are you against Amils charging but not against doctors?

BarakAllahufiq … no worries … That would be a form of rib’a … When a contract is drafted … One agrees to pay for a service … If the service does not deliver what it sets out to deliver then the contract is void.

If I hire someone my contract should stipulate how much time I want them to do … Say a cleaning service … £10 per hour is nominal … But If draft my contract with… £10 for each item cleaned and the cleaner only cleans 3 items in 5 hours … Then I don’t pay £50 … For 5 hours of work … But £30 for three items.

short end is … A ruqya service is a contract to treat an illness … It is not a time based contract for ongoing service, because one would have to ask about value for money … And if there is no value for money it falls in to your note again … “Ridiculous amounts” … Any amount is ridiculous if the treatment is dud.

if however, the 'amil cannot achieve the desired results … He would be honest and say so after 3 treatments and break away from the contract … This is where the recipient can choose to pay the 'amil for their time … Under no obligation.
