well the above stats might be including skilled trades professionals who would have to still attend vocational training of some sort - and surely you can find ppl who make $100K+ and aren’t even high school grads and if money is the only motivation and an end in itself for you, then you might be satisfied taking that route.
In the end, a University based education is for those who seek intellectual fulfillment, and don’t think of University as a stepping stone to some well paying career - a career that, for the most part, they can’t even define properly just yet.
