i read on msn that in usa there are 10 job who needs no degree

and your yearly income is 70k$

i was amazed then why are we studying for jobs and for earning money

i m talking about studies financilay…

:omg: you dont study for jobs and money! You can make money even if you dont know anything.

You study to be a a more learned person. So you can live your live as an informed human being.

well the above stats might be including skilled trades professionals who would have to still attend vocational training of some sort - and surely you can find ppl who make $100K+ and aren't even high school grads and if money is the only motivation and an end in itself for you, then you might be satisfied taking that route.

In the end, a University based education is for those who seek intellectual fulfillment, and don't think of University as a stepping stone to some well paying career - a career that, for the most part, they can't even define properly just yet.

You study because when you're desi if you don't have a degree, then you can be making $100K and people will still talk smack about your parents for raising a kid who didn't do further education.

Well, I think I know what you are talking about. There was stuff like web surfers, plumbers, carpenters, etc but I won't find any of those jobs fulfilling. Or Education has made me too inept to compete in any of these types of jobs :(
