There is a very serious problem on this discussion board. We discuss just about everything, which is good as it leads us to truth. The problem is that everytime somebody tries to discuss Ahmedis they close the thread. Everytime a link is given it is edited. On top of that there was a thread which was completely deleted because it talked about Ahmedis. Who controls this website. Are these Ahmedis who do not want them to be discussed?

I have nothing against Ahmedis but I have felt that it is against freedom of expression to not allow to discuss something even though it is not offending anyone.

There is no such thing as "freedom of expression". Your freedom ends when someone else gets offended by your comments. Having said that, no, we do not disallow any debates on any religion, as long as the discussion has some focus and all participants refrain from posting insults and deregatory comments about other faiths. Respect is a two way street. Read the rules of Religion Forum, if you have not already. If still unsure, send a PM to the forum moderators or Administrator.
Re: your thread on Ahmadis: which one are your referring to? The one where you just gave a URL, with no comments? GUPSHUP can not be used for advertisement of other sites. If you have something specific to discuss, you should open a thread with specific comments, questions or focus. However, if the intent is only to bash or insult someone's faith, religion or religions personalities, then GUPSHUP is not the place for it. All such comments should be taken elsewhere.
