Ahhhh okay. Now I get it. So cleaning is good but not being obsessed with cleaning. You guys ask for too much.

i waited 3 years to see if he would put his socks back in the right place

eventually I mentioned it to him, and he looked confused, my poor hubby,

men don’t change, just pick up the darn socks and make a contribution to the world by teaching your son’s (if you have any) to look after their own laundry - save another woman the hassle

unless its a mother in law conspiracy - one of those prices to pay for marrying their son

in which case you could do the same

Well if you dont have a problem with her shopping habits i am sure she can look away when you litter the floor with dirty socks.

Waisay when we first got married, i was apalled to see my husband leave his socks all over the place too. I argued for a little while but to no avail. Now i just ignore their existence and tell him that he has to find them for laundary time himself if he wants clean socks the next week. This arrangement is working out fine for us, i dont nag him and he is responsible for them himself.
