Allah Almighty sent a large number of Prophets to guide the human beings from the very beginning of humanity. Prophets were sent to each and every community from time to time. The exact number of the Prophets sent is only know to Allah Almighty .It has been narrated that the number ranged between one hundred twenty thousand and two hundred thousand.
Quran the last revealed book of Allah has mentioned the names of various prophets from first Hazrat Adam(A.S) and the last Hazrat Muhammed (S.A.W.W)
The most famous prophets are Adam, Nuh, Shoaib, Dawood, Sulaiman, Ibrahim, Israel, Yaquoob, Yousuf, Moses (Musa), Jesus Christ and Hazrat Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him), after whom the door of Prophethood was closed and sealed, no one can break the seal. If any one dares to break the seal, he would be termed as heretic and non-believer.
Therefore, it is entire universe belonging to any sect, section, tribe or classes have not the slightest difference in this particular Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him). If anyone has full faith in all the necessary tenents of Islam but negates that the line of Prophethood has been terminated after Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) he is infidel and nonbeliever.
Quran and Hadith (Traditions or Sayings of the last Prophet) provide ample proof of this particular faith i.e. (Khatme-Nabuwat) end of the Prophet.
Quran Says:
Muhammed is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last one among all the prophets. And Allah knows all things(33-40)
Almost al the interpreters of Quran give the meaning of (Khatamun Nabieen) as last and final prophet.
IMAM GHAZALI explains the said verse as such:
“No doubt the Ummah has unanimously under stood from this word (Khatamun Nabieen) and its circumstantial reference to mean non existence of a Nabi or Rasool ever that (this word calls for) no reservation or tacit interpretion in it, hence its dissident is certainly the one who rejects Ummah’s unanimity”. (AI-Iqtisad fil Etiqad) Ghazali quoted in the Book Gift for Qadiani by Maulana Yosuf Ludhianvi)
Hafiz Ibne Katheer the most renowned commentator of Quran says; “And on this (precept of Khatme Nabuwat) there have come from Allah’s Messenger Mutawatir continous Ahadith which has been transmitted be an unbroken chain of his Sahabas (companions) (Allah be pleased with them).”
Allah has announced the completion of two things in this verse. The first thing is the Deen (Religion) and the second thing is the favour of Allah is the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) . Now till the last day there would be no new religion of Allah nor any newprophet af Allah after the last prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him).
Abu Horaira narrates in Bukhari and Muslim that Prophet said, ‘Certainly any example and the example of Prophets earlier than me is like the example of a place most elegant and most beautiful constructed be a person except (that he left in it ) a blank space for a brick in one of its corners and that made the people (who were) going (unperplexion) why not this brick in laid here”. The Prophet said ‘I am that (corners last)brick and I am the last of the Prophets”.
In Tirmizi it has been narrated as such:
“My example among the prophets has a likeness (in the sense) that a man constructed a palace most lovely and perfect and extremely elegant but left the place of one brick incomplete in it for subsequent inlaying)” then people went around the place and wondered(on its excellence) and said, “would that space for one brick be also filled up”. The Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) said, “I am in place of this brick among the prophets’. Imam Tirmizi calls this Hadith Hasan-Sahih.
In the another Ahadith of Bukhari sa’ad bin Waqqas narrates that the Prophet said to Hazrat Ali “ You have the same relation with me as Haroon had with Moosa except that there shall be no prophet after me”. Besides Saad many other companions have narrated this Hadith, so it is taken as Mutawatir i.e. (transmitted by an unbroken chain of reliable narrators). Some of them are Hazrat Jabir Bin Samrah, Hazrat Umme Salma, Zaid Bin Arqam, Abdullah Bin Umar, Hazrat Huraurah etc.
In another Hadith of Tirmizi Anas bin Malik narrates, Allah’s Messenger said “Verily Risalat and Nabuwwat are terminated so there shall be neither a Rasool nor a Nabi after me .”
(Every Prphet is called a Nabi whether he was given a Shariat or not and the prophet who was given a Shariat is called a Rasool).
In an another Hadith of Kanzul Ummal Abu Horyairah narrates that he Propet said, “ I was first among the prophets in creation and the last of them to be sent as the prophet into the world”.
In Ibne Maja Abu Amamatul Bahli narrates that Prpohet said, “ I am the last Prophet and you are the last Ummah.
There are numerous Ahadith on this subject, this short discourse can not bear all authentic Ahadith. I have chosen some important Ahadith.
The faith on Khatme Nabuwat is the universal and accepted fatith of the Ummah from the very beginning ther is no slight deviation from this faith.
Allah completed his Din after sending the last Prphet to His creatures. Now the door of Prophethood is completely closed. This notion is flly propved through Quran and unbroken chain of Ahadith.
Hafiz Ibne Kathir writes under the verse Khatamun Nabieen that no prophet will ever be born after Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) . Hence the Ummah should know that if a person lays a claim to this status of Prophethood after him such a person is an arch-liar, apretender, an imposter, scandal monger and a seducer of men who is himself corrupt and corrupting others .
The last Prophet himself has declaread that, “There shall be nearly thirty pretenders as liar In my Ummah, each one of whome will claim that he is a prophet but there shall be none after me”.
One who believes in any kind or shape of prophethood after the last Prophet is a dualist infidel whose capital punishment is obligatory because hs assertion is his belief that the door of Prophethood is not closed.
The entire Ummah and Jurist have consensus in this matter that there is no prophet after Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) , if anyone believes otherwise he is a nonmuslim and kafir.
“If a person does not have the belief thathte Holy Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) is the lst prophet then he is not a Muslim. If he says I am Prphet of Allah” or says in Perisan language “I am Paghamber” thereby meaning “I convey Allah message” then he also becomes an infidel (Kafir). ) (Quoted from Fatawai Hindiya)
“If some bodsy says with a word of doubt, viz. “If the Prophet’s assertion is correct and true” then he becomes a Kafir. Similarly, if he claims that he is Allah’s Prophet, then he becomes a Kafir and the man who asks that claimate to produce a miracle) intends to prove the inability of the claimant”. (Bahrur Raquaiq Sharah Kanzud Daqaiq) quoted in Book Gift for the Qadianis (Yousuf Ludhianvi)
Some liar claimant of Pophethood appeared even during the presence of the Last Prophet Muhamed (Peace be Upon Him) but they could not face the real Prphet who ordered to behead such claimants wherever they were found. The first Caliph Syedena finished him and his followers, though many Muslims and preservers of Quran were martyred in that battle.
In our time in the end of 19th century again a liar appeared in the shape of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad from Qadiain a small town in Punjab in the Indo Pak subcontinent. The life style and utterances of this man proved that he was a stooge and agent of British who ruled this subcontinent. They captured the land by intrigue and brute force and established their hegemony. Power was snatched from Muslims, who were the rulers of the subcontinent. The new ruler wanted to lure the Muslim by hook or crook. Muslims have great respect for their Prophet, they can sacrifice anything including their precious lives to save the dignity and honour of the prophet. British saw this sprit in the Muslims of the subcontinent and sentimental attachment with the word ‘Nabi’ (Prophet). They thought if a Nabi of Madina can be respected to such an extent that a Muslim can sacrifice his life for preserving the dignity and honour of the Prophet then a Nabi from their own homeland would be more respected. The word Nabi itself has got a significant place in the hearts of Muslims. Therefore, the British sought a man Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who first declared his loyalty to the new rulers and served under them as an ordinary servant. In the beginning he tried to incline the Muslims towards himself as a preacher of Islam. He confronted with Christians and challenged the authority of Jesus Christ. He himself declared that he was the Jesus Christ who is to come again in this world. Some Muslims were trapped and joined his mission. The British rulers provided him all facilities. He became courageous and in the beginning of 20th Century he declared himself a Prophet. The Muslim rejected him and entire Ulamas of the Sub-continent challenged his contention and declared him liar, pretender and an heretic.
In fact the British misconceived the spirit of Muslims. Muslims have spiritual and sentimental attachment with Mohammad the last prophet and before him with other real prophets and not with every Tom, Dick and Harry who declares himself a prophet.
Now I quote some of the utterances of this pretender of prophethood Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian.
1). The true God is that who sent a message in Quadian (Dafaul-Bala page 150 and Tazianai Ibrat Page 12).
2). I swear by God that he has sent me and has named me as prophet (Haqiqatul Wahi Page 67 Tazianai Ibrat).
3). I believe in my revelation in the same manner as I believe in Quran (Hawala Arabia Page 4 & 19).
4). I Mirza Ghulam Ahmad am a promised Masih and Imam of the day and reformer and Prophet of Allah and messenger like shaded and revelations of Ailah are sent upon me (Tazianai Ibrat the signed document presented in the court).
5). The revelation of Allah was not closed with Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
6). The prophet Muhammad had three thousand miracles and I have about two lacs (Tohfa Golrawia and Borahine Ahmadia Pages 57 & 67 respectively).
Mirza said about the verse of Quran revealed in Surah Fatah 48:29: “In this verse revelation (Muhammad as well as Rasul” The messenger of Allah.
(EK Ghalti Ka Izala Page 3 Roohani Khazain Vol 18 Page 207)
There are numerous vile utterances of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in which he has rebuked all prophets, ridiculed Prophet Christ. In this particular article the details cannot be given.
Besides all these things he has announced rescination of Jihad to please his British masters. On page 28 of “Khaitbai Ilhamia” he announced that from today the Jihad by sword is closed.
Mirza calls every Muslim Kafir. In a book ‘Naimul Huda’ he calls his opponent as pigs of the forest and their women are dirty vile women and prostitutes.
At one place he says, ‘only the sons of dancing women and prostitutes do not accept my call ‘God has revealed me that one who does not obey you, and opposes you is a man of hell’. ‘It is obligatory upon us not to accept non Ahmadis as Muslims and not to offer prayers behind them or take part in their funeral prayers’.
Mr. Zafrullah a Qadiani ex-Foreign Minister of Pakistan did not attend funeral prayers of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Keeping in view the clear anti-Islamic utterances, the Muslims of entire universe have declared Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and his followers non-believers and clear infideis. The highest legislative authority i.e. National Assembly of Pakistan has declared by law Qadianis and Ahmadis Lahori or other non-believers and infidels. Ulemas of Pakistan particularly Ulema-I-Ahle-Sunnat under the leadership of Quide Ahle Sunnat Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui gave a tough fight against Qadianis and compelled the members of the National Assembly to declare Qadianis as non-Muslims. And such a clause was inserted in the 1973 constitution of Pakistan declaring that followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani are non-Muslims.
Trust me, You’ll get pain.
