The funny thing is that the israelis are going around developing patents like there is no tomorrow without a singular reference to a past glory of Kind David. Imagine the chinese, talking about the ming dynasty as a model for their surge in biotech. Or the Indians harking back to the maurya or CHola dynasties to deteremine whether they have the largest number of FDA approved labs in the world outside of the US for pharma studies and product development.
I have a theory..wanna hear?
Here goes...the muslim world looks at the past as the model for its future, the past was a relative success vis-a-vis the dark of europe but not on a global basis. The sooner the muslim world figures out that humanity comprises of not religious blocs but people who are forward thinking and those stuck in the past, the better the lives and conditions would get.
