@BarbieCue

The book that I believe in had already told people that the earth wasn’t a sphere, that the earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa, that the light of the moon is not its own light, that the universe was created with a big, powerful explosion (the big bang theory) etc etc etc so why in the world would I be insecure of science if it actually backs all this up?

For you, it’s either science or the word of God. For me, it’s both. “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind”. So let me selectively choose to believe in what makes sense to me and I’ll let you do the same.

so you believe in big bang “Theory” but not in fact that evolution is?

anyways if you read my posts, i have been trying to seperate faith from science since my first post. for me it is not eithr god or science. for me it is god and science. there is nothing science can do to shake my faith in god. but for a lot of posters, if it is like if science is right then their religion is wrong and hence no god.

PS. trust me, there were and still are people who thought earth was flat because their books says so. no matter how much science you show them they wont budge. for them if earth is round their it negates their religion, and i am not talking about just christians here.
