I think you are over simplifying to bring about a consensus.
Scientists say human evolved in to present form millions of years ago and still evolving and so is every other creature on the planet.
And some sections of religions say god made it all in blink of an eye bypassing all other evolutionary steps.
Big difference there is. Intervention of gods is divine process not natural.
