Anyways, Asif, I never noticed that the majority in the Pakistani entertainment industry is Shia. I dont it is though, is it? 
And even if it is, what does it matter?
it does matter… the media being hijacked in muhurram… media shapes how one think… atleast shapes the majority way of thi nking it…

I really don't know about the entertainers in Pakistan whether majority of them are shias. But then sure have heard the Quaid, Iqbal , benazir butto are shias too :D
I think one really can't tell with certainty so and so is a shia.

i beg to differ mr nihari..its the wahabis that are taking over the news media..just like the world media is under jews control the muslim media is in the hands of these wahabis..i believe wahabis are worse then jews and hindus though..a wahabi is saying that tv is hijacked in mohurram...Imam Hussain (a.s.) sacrifice is so huge that India, controlled by the hindus, has 10th mohuram as a national holiday..yet this so called muslim country saudia arabia does not

tell me one newspaper running by shias in pakistan…shias are like 15-20% population of pakistan so its crazy to think the media is in their control…just cuz u brought few names doesnt mean crap

ok, the threads getting abit lame, it started of really interesting. I never really noticed it before, but its not really a big deal if shias are in the media alot. If they are then they probably worked hard for it, so good for them. Whats interesting is the people complaining about it. I mean, is anyone stopping you from making your mark in the media? Is sitting around moaning about media control going to make any difference. I really doubt it.
i’m not even shia but it honestly sickens, saddens, angers me to see the shia bashing in this thread
