i have watched a few indian movies and the couples look so mis matched, the girls are so young while the are old grandpas. any reason for this trend?

are there no young indian men to replace these dinosaurs?

Because they can somewhat act. The younger ones are just looks without skills. The people with skills are not chosen because they don't look like desi Kens (they not pretty enough for bolly standards).

For the girls it doesnt really matter if you can't act. They just be pretty and half nude and voila, we have another actress. The new generations are willing to do anything for a role anyways, so no big deal here.

Because of age first, and second people like waleed, aliya cant see SRK playing role of anushka's father with white hair.

They aren’t doing much cheesy romantic movies though apart from SRK. :vivo:

Salman’s romantic movies have all failed in the past few years and only his action movies are successful. Akshay Kumar does mostly comedies. Aamir Khan makes really intelligent, thought-provoking movies.

I don’t know, someone like Shahid Kapoor or Ranbir Kapoor or any of the other new lads just don’t have that charm that the old actors do. May be it’ll take them a few more years to reach that level of popularity and by then the current superstars would have retired from such roles too.

Salman has started to become a serious actor. Akshay kumat is not that old. Ranbir is outstanding.

Bilkul! In a movie with amitabh thematic malignity and Abraham he had a serious role. Then he was wheelchair bound in a movie.
