If most Christian, Hindu, Buddhist countries are Secular, why do most Muslim countries state they are Islamic state only and incopporate Islamic teachings, values and laws on all.
Some of the Guppies smuggly say that because we are not Secular, its OK to rubbish other religions, their values and practices, but the rest of the world must change to accept Muslim values & practices in their own countries??? Just because they want to be fair & just and call themselves Secular.

Dear malhot, I don’t know about the official position of most Christian countries, but Nepal is officially a Hindu nation. Am I right?

Because Islam asks its laws to be implemented on Muslims, not man-made laws, even though no Islamic country truly implements Islam but they make political claims to gain grounds.

If rest of the countries call themselves secular and are really secular then they must accept all values, they must allow its citizenry to follow their religion and not dictate what to wear and what not to wear. If 'rest-of-world' starts calling themselves as "Christian", "Jewish", "Hindu" countries and implement the laws of their religion then Muslims will lose the right to complain.

i would argue that aside from exceptions Muslim countries do not aim to have Islam as the basis of the political system, even as a claim. what we do have is more conservative laws, based on what is and isnt acceptable for the majority population, which is often based in the religion. but that isnt much different from say... America?

I agree in Islam music is Haram, tell me where is it mentioned in the Quran that music is haram in pelluccid words. Well I am waiting for an answer, before commenting on these statements please read the compelte Quran and then base your verdicts on that.
Well do you know, what is interest done to even richer countries, well Allaah is the creator and he knows the best. Though as humans we fail to understand the Allaah is Almighty wise.
When we were kids our parents admonished us, regarding some of our habits, we used to dislike it for obvious reasons and warned against our desires. Now Allaah knows the best whats needed for the Creation, its our mistake we are not able to understand and are stubborn to stick to our desires, we know for good(Muslims) its Anarchy otherwise.
Well, the bottomline is secularism is an Ideology and again its a belief. Similar to I belief regarding Islam, but people are ready to adhere to secularism and not Islam. A non-muslim would love, a muslim behaving like a kafir. Have you ever thought if the kafirs love this way then wont the Muslims like the kafirs, behaving like Muslims.
