Ha, myth of the century. It makes no sense to wear footwear that is uncomfortable, unhealthy and impractical other than the fact that they make legs and hips look sexier. Which is what men notice, not women.

i feel awesome wearing heels, the same feeling isn’t there when i wear sneakers or flats. :hinna: there’s just something that happens to the self esteem when wearing beautiful heels, a woman feels just totally wonderful

i have nothing against buying expensive gadgets but spending 100s or 1000s on something that will become outdated in a year or two just doesn’t make sense and seems highly impractical :p, beautiful lenghas and heels will last for years if they are worn only for special occasions and are taken good care of.

Who said fashion made sense? Have you ever seen a runway show? Does any of it make sense? When the new season starts…does it say anywhere “ladies, be sure to wear these heels and he will be yours forever”??? No…its all about women competing with other women or even personal satisfaction. We all know men dont care about the color of our eyeshadow or if we wear a gharara from our dadi’s time for the wedding. We do it for ourselves.

I know a guy that has a trainer collection that would put most women's shoe collection to shame.

It basically comes down to how we dress. If you wear a lot of different outfits (as most women do), you will need a lot of shoes because they are an essential part of the outfit. So you end up with work wear, casual wear, semi-casual, evening, wedding, desi outfits, sports, summer, winter....

And to be perfectly honest, it's the same for men unless they are the kind that remains in jeans, t-shirt and trainers all day everyday.

I’ve never bought a pair of shoes or handbags over $50.

That brings me to the famous Coach bag. So it’s not like I haven’t seen Coach bags…they all look the same and have a large hole where you dump cheap stuff that all stinks to the bottom anyway . So why should I pay $250 for a hole? Sorry I had to vent.

Coming back to shoes, have one expensive daily use one, and many inexpensive ones that look good and you wear like 2 times in your entire life. That’s my philosophy…not the guppan philosophy who is a pal of mine by the way but philosophy as in my throught process.

Coach bags that have huge holes run 400+

I love looking at em but will probably never buy one in my life…just b/c its not worth it for me. Unfortunately I always end up liking the expensive bags

I’ve been to many ladies only functions and trust me the shoes are damn fineee. It does make sense to wear such footwear when you look that good, even if only to please yourself :halo:
