Me and my friend were on the bus and there was this guy who just kept on looking at my friend. Then we got of the bus he said to her that she dropped this piece of paper and when she looked at it just to see if it was hers, it said on there please call me and the number was written down. Obviously my fried threw it away because she is not that type of girl.
i dont understand why guys do that? what if someone saw them and got the wrong idea??
you can not change it. I'll go a step ahead and say girls dont want to change it. They always expect and want to guy to take that "first step". Now how the poor guy takes that first step totally depends on his education, training and how much of a gentleman he is.
Guys are result oriented and dont care/pay much attention to the way of getting a result while girls pay more attention to the method of getting results so much so that sometime they cant get the result :)
Its worse wen guys try their luck at weddings, i once had a young kid come over to me with a number and gave it to me infront of a few people then pointed at the guy who sent him. I was so embarrassed cos my male cousin wasnt impressed.lol

You know maybe the guy did it to try his luck? I mean, what are the chances of him seeing your friend again and trying to get to know her? Maybe he decided to take a chance and see if she would be interested in talking to him. Granted, the method wasnt right but sometimes you have to give them credit for at least trying. It takes some guts to do that.
It definitely is not an appreciatable act. Rather you may mark it as disgusting. But I've seen it personally happening otherwise as well... meaning girls approaching guyz in a very similar fashion. SO I think it should not be categorized on the basis of any gender, rather its just an individual's mentality or may be one of the "desperate measures" that he/she chooses..
eww that reminds me off all the chichoray at desi events in NY/NJ like paki day parades...etc.....people handing out flyers/magazines actually put their name/number in the flyer in hopes that someone would call...like seriously!!! Then again, you did have the girls who got all dolled up just for a parade.....like why on earth would you wear heavy kaam outfits/makeup to a park event where its 80+ degrees and under the sun for a few hours!!! Hmm......
Anyways maybe if the guy woul dhave just said hi & talked to her would that have been better/?
