lol. Its really not even a big deal and my intention was soo not to make myself appear all that in front of u guys. I am sure every girl has gotten numbers left and right esp online. My question was just to maybe find out why guys don;t even think before handing out their cell phone numbers after having spoken to a stranger a couple of times, how do u even know its really a female at the other end? What if she misuses ur number? why oh why?

If a guy finds a girl attractive, and is confident enough he WILL try to give his number,but that type of guy cant really be trusted. Those guys that give their numbers out after seeing or speaking to a girl once or twice are FLIRTS.
It's cheap and when guys try to get my number on the streets or uni or whatever I find it offensive if I don't know them, and there is no reason for me to speak to them. Many a time i've had prank calls etc off guys who knew me and I didn't know them and they expected to me to chat to them and meet them as well. I was damn pissed. I would never give my number to them, because they only wanna speak to you because of the way you look. God knows how many other pretty girls they have thrown their numbers to.
My opinion? Don't give your number to them as they are players and then they will catagorize you as another girl in their phonebook. Stay away from them as they don't deserve your attention.

well most of them are like love rats anyway, they probably pass their number on to everyone inthe hopes that some would be stupid enough to call.

See now in dubai the chicks are smarter...they say...get online first..then they'd say....how do I know if that's really your number? So the guys would proclaim...well call me up..then the chick would say...but I have no fone credit...so the guy would get one of em prepaid cards and mail the number to the gal...who now with a whole load of credit would use it to call up the man she has designs on...
