…A BBC Asian Network report found that more Asian women are having abortions. The numbers increased from 10.084 in 2003 to 15.197 in 2007. Surveys show that many of them are in consented sexual relationships. Attitudes and behaviour within Asian populations are changing dramatically. Young British Asians are growing up in a society that is more relaxed about sexual activity and the influence is showing…
…More Western attitudes have brought changes to these preserved cultural values. The independent British Asian woman is making more decisions for herself. The new lifestyle is empowering her to decide on matters such as sexual relationships. With marriages happening later in life due to careers and personal choices, the desire to have dating relationships and subsequently, sex before marriage, is becoming a growing factor amongst younger generations of Brit-Asians…
Re: Why are british asian girls becoming more begerat?
Is anyone new who posts something you don't like or agree with the new NomiCA?
I'm not the only one who's noticed.. Anyway only a matter of time before his baiting behaviour will warrant another ban so with that I'm out..
(As for the comments about BBCD girls' morals, did you forget it takes TWO to make a baby? Some of the comments here show just how ignorant and backward some ppl still are)
Re: Why are british asian girls becoming more begerat?
I guess that this figure would included the bigger community of indians and they have no morals at all.
Yeah and we are saints. Are you serious, bro? First, they could be having abortions for a multitude of reasons. Second, is it moral to raise a kid that was never wanted to begin with? Is it moral to treat that child horribly because one or both parents did not want the child in the world?
Does it factor in abortions by married women as birth control or to terminate pregnancies with medical issues. With the intrafamily marriages among the more conservative and less educated ones in one segment. The likelihood of birth defects is increasing. Unsure if some of the stats point at that as well.
Not to say there is no hanky panky going on and has not increased over time. The trends are the same everywhere though. Revirginisation in Muslim countries with hymen reconstruction services is an example.
Some of it is more open attitudes about sex, and birth control, other is about things that went on now being more public. In the end if it is something that is not hurting anyone but the individual then it's a lesser issue than those that impact more people. The indoctrination of impressionable ppl by militants in any garb for example.
