these consalate personnel should not have been released without a proper investigation. national security is the top priority right now and if anyone is driving around filming the army cantonment area with fake number plates, its highly suspicious and they should not be above the law. but neverthless bravo for a job well done by our vigilant security personnel, vigilance is key right now.

looks like the "VERY TOP BAIGHAIRAT MANAGEMENT" of the country has inked some sort of a deal with the Amreekans, but the law and order enforcement authorities have not been told about it.
I say next time take these amreekan sundis to the drawing room, if they are caught again filming sensitive areas, dont waste time in questioning and asking for IDs etc., by the time the phone rings or some low life gora arrives from the consulate, the persons caught should have received enough entertainment in the drawing room.
Who knows, when the rescue party arrives the persons caught might be shouting " I am Ail-Kiedaa I am Al-Kiedaa "

So far our police has confiscated their camera and thoroughly searched their cars.
As per police nothing dangerous has been found.
The gravest charge seems to be the license plate. However the car registration papers not being in order is a minor offense punishable mostly via a couple $ fine (Rupee fine in $ to be paid by the embassy staff).
We should let the embassy staff know that the next time we catch someone with false license plate, we’ll reconsider their diplomatic status and send them home.

LAHORE, Dec 12: Security agencies on Saturday intercepted two more vehicles of US Consulate in two different localities of the provincial metropolis.
However, police claim the security personnel let the foreigners go only after a thorough search of the vehicles and being furnished with their identification by the consulate.
In the first incident, a land cruiser was intercepted by the police at a picket near Shimla Hill for bearing suspicious registration number.
The occupants of the vehicle reportedly offered resistance when the police sought their identification as well as registration book of the vehicle.
In the meantime, a security squad of the US Consulate also arrived at the spot and managed release of the vehicle and those riding it, sources said.
The other vehicle, also a land cruiser, was stopped by security personnel and military police at Sherpao Bridge, Cantonment, also carrying foreign ‘diplomats’.
Police sources said the vehicle had a fake registration number of Karachi. However, US Consulate officials again intervened and took the vehicle and its occupants with them, without letting the security personnel search them, they added.
SSP (Operations) Shafiq Ahmad said both the vehicles were allowed to go only after a thorough search, complete verification of their registration and travel documents of the foreigners.
It was third incident in a week in the city when security agencies intercepted vehicles owned by US Consulate.

Yeah and having been a diplomat in the US anything out of the ordinary gets a letter straight to the State Department. On the other hand our Top PPP leadership has struck some deal and solid out the country to the US.
Its safer to befriend a snake than it is to befriend the US government.
