Hindi is such a beautiphul language. Why they wright songs in urdu then? I think they are songs. hindi philm urdu song, bery nice combination.

The songs are not in Urdu, but in a dialect called Hindustani which is a mix of Hindi & Urdu.

Yeah, post 2 was right, thats Hindustani, neither Hindi nor Urdu. kind of khichdi of languages.
real pure Hindi or Urdu would get too hard for comprehending.

Its interesting to compare the language used in bollywood movies and the language used to translate programs from e.g. 'national geographic' into hindi.
