Why there r 2 consecutive ONMs in Lahore.. Pak is playing SL 2 matches in lahore.. what would be crowd interest in going to 2 matches 2 days apart.. why not smaller cities like Sialkot, Shekhupura or ay other in pakistan not given opportunity to have one of them.. there would had been much more crowd involvement plus more exposure to cricket in those cities..
how come no one spoke up when two consecutive ZIM-SL matches were planned in rawalpindi???

^Hey LUC I heard the same thing. I also heard the pitch is supposed to be really fast. I don't know what the current state of development is. I'v ealso heard they are making proper pitches in Islamabad and Mirpur.
The idea of 2 consecutives ODI's in Lahore is really stupid. I wonder which member of PCB's braintrust came up with this one. I think the main reason is probably because there is no test in Lahore. The two tests with Lanka are in Karachi and Faisalabad.
elahi the ground in mirpur is ready + it's had it's official iftata by some government official. it's quite nice, i've had the pleasure of seeing it although EMPTY.

If it is they will play International Cricket there. Right now domestically most players from Azad Kashmir play for Rawalpindi (Afaq Raheem being prominent)
watever the reason is it doesnt make sense. probably some lahori lobby sitting on the top whose makin all the decisions. they could have had the round robin game in karachi or pindi n the final in lahore. there is nothing bigger then the final, n i dun hv ne problem in lahore gettin it, but 2 matches in a row is ridiculous! the ground in both cases was half empty.
n also the 2 matches in pindi, both featuring zimbabwe/SL. that dint make sense either. pindi is an excellent stadium n defienetly deserves better. newayz, i breathe a sigh of relief now that karachi is finally hosting a test match!
no idea about capacity elahi it's a small stadium not massive, i'll find out more when i visit next time

Yeah it was really stupid. Especially back to back Zimbabwe vs Lanka games in Pindi. Who is going to go watch that. Games like that should be played somewhere you would'nt otherwise have cricket so you can draw a crowd. Say Quetta or Bahawalpur.

as for the games, ya it is really stupid. they shd play these zimbabwe n bangladesh games in places like quetta, hydrebad, bahawalpur, gujranwala, sialkot, among others. these places r either totally new / or havent had any cricket in recent times. i especially feel sorry for the people in hydrebad, niaz stadium used to be a decent stadium. now its "UJAARH".
