Re: whts happening wth my baby
I would think she is teething maybe and probaly woke up the first time and saw you reassuring her and has maybe
got into the habit of waking and needing your reassurance. Take her to your doctors or health visitors to check her if she is ok
My child is also waking at night for 2/3 weeks now and he wakes up screaming the place down
and my hubby dear has been picking him up and bringing him into our bed and now my 14 month old wont go to sleep in his bed
and wakes up at night expected to go to sleep with us. we need to get him back into routine
Try not to get too worried she will soon fall back into her routine :)
Re: whts happening wth my baby
yeah she got 2 teeths no more teeths coming its so difficult 2 set baby's routine whenever i think she is settled n her routine is set something goes wrong again :(
thnkx for replying after 50 views atleast some1 replied :)
Re: whts happening wth my baby
i know i was like so many views and no replies? :(
Try no naps after 3-4pm and in the evenings try calming her down ( tv off/vol off ) bath, milk, bed
do this a couple of times and see if she still wakes up.
If still no improvement take her to doctors, hopefully she will settle down :)
Re: whts happening wth my baby
i just took her 2 doctor last week n everything was fne n after that visit she has started doing this she only take one nap during day between 3 to 4 for 2 hrs n thn she goes to bed at 10:30 n wakes up at 11 next morning wth all these disturbances during night :(
Re: whts happening wth my baby
teething may be waking her up, but this is the age that both stranger anxiety and separation anxiety are going strong. she's more conscious that you're not with her. it's a phase.
Re: whts happening wth my baby
how long i will last?
Re: whts happening wth my baby
Like others said its just a phase. She is either teething or practicing her new skills of standing up and crawling. If you think its teething then maybe try some ibuprofen before bed time?
Re: whts happening wth my baby
Try cutting the naps shorter during the day. Get her doing lots of physical play in the afternoon so that by the evening, she is knackered. Then, milk, Ibuprofen, bath and bed.. keep the same routine with the nap times again and hopefully she will fall into the rhythm of being tired by bedtime and more likley to sleep through.
My daughter was the same, always waking up and wouldn't go to sleep without a cuddle and a lie in my bed. Cut her 2 2hr-2.5hr naps to one afternoon nap for 2/2.5hrs and now she doesnt wake as much. She does stir and fidget, but she is slowly learning to settle her-self to sleep so I don't have to rummage aeround for a dummy at 3am and then rock her back to sleep.
Also, if she doesn't have a dummy at bed time. Try giving her one if she wakes? See if that settles her back to sleep.

This is what my Husband did too and totally ruined her routine that I spent months to build before I went back to work. What I've done now is put the cot right next to the bed with one side of the cot completely down (the side closest to the bed). I put her to sleep in the bed and then when I go to sleep, I shift her to the cot. She has slowly got used to the cot again and doesn't expect to be put in our bed if she wakes up. If she does wake up, I pop her dummy back and she lies down and goes back to sleep. now, if she wakes, she finds her own dummy and settles herself back to sleep and doesn't roll over on to the bed. In a few weeks I'll pop the side back up but still leave her next to the bed and then a few weeks after that, move the cot back where it was and get my bedside cabinet back, lol!
Re: whts happening wth my baby
^This happened around a year for us too. We fought for so long and had so many sleepless nights. Eventually we compromised by turning the crib into a toddler bed and putting it right up against our bed, so she has her space but still feels like she's with us.
