hey.. my sister is gonna get married in Sept. 2011 InshaAllah
post ideas for what i can wear on her barat day and valima.. barat is gonna be in karahi and valima will be in lahore and maybe with a gap of 1 month… if you have ideas for mehndi.. give them too// uploading pix will be highly appreciated… note that i am 5’6" in height, 16 yrs old female.
and i wish to wear a very light color on valima maybe white.. but put in any idea you have and what you think will the fashion be?? long shirts? trousers? lahenga?

i would say - if its a fall wedding, i'd wear a long jacket with heavy embroidery on it and a narrow pant. i'd go for an elegant look as your the sister of the bride, will have a lot to do while helping your family out the day of, and still want to look glamorous and gorgeous. a long jacket is elegant, timeless and these days the embroidery is so heavy that its super embellished. just choose colors that are striking and that coordinate with an accenting color of your sister's bridal dress, so you coordinate!
