i think the whole idea behind muklawa is that the bride doesnt feel too awkward living with a new family so she is brought home for a day or two in familiar surroundings. Not sure if it makes any sense but thats how it was explained to me way back when. In our case, it was just rushing to pack and get home around 2 am. Going to bed after fajar and then waking up to have breakfast and leave anyways. I didnt feel any closer to anyone than i did the day before. Ofcourse i did miss them loads when i started the real life and all after the honeymoon.
