i like having the curtains matching the duvet, in my room, and i like having frames etc put on wall…and generally i like my home looking good, with matchin stuff, and so i like to buy stuff that matchs and accessorise, husband is opp. he likes minimal effort, although he will buy good exp stuff like sofa and dining tables, when it comes to accessories,he thinks its fazool karch…like in the living room he will want tv,sofa, cupboard and dining table…while i will also want, a corner vase, long vase with fglowers in, some decorations, some nice frames on walls, etc…
our home has been designed/decorated with equal input from both, some rooms has more of her input like dining room, some have more of mine like family room, some are equal like living room and master bedroom, kids rooms are mostly her, office is 100% mine etc.
from us we both like decorating house but he is bit less iam bohat zada and mazay ki baat hay we have little kidos so we cant decorate with decoration items except the frame things other wise every decorated item will be ripped off by my lill one ::):):)
He kind of leaves it to me, but I still prefer to have a discussion and agree on a look, I then excute. For big furniture items its very much joint, he looks at the practicality and I look at the aesthetics. But actually I haven't changed much since I moved in (a year a go), as he already had some beautiful decorative pieces. I've just added in some places, and moved things around.
