we complain, and so many anchors on pak dramas say why should indians be on pak billboards,why should we give the likes of kareena katrina importance when we have our own pak models/actress…same goes for our general viewpoint of indians…and nadia khan gets all angry about it too..although i wish i could ask her what the hell shes doing in dubia then, shouldnt be have her show in pakistan then…im sure people in dubia could also ask the same question why they need a pakistani morniong show host, why cant someone from dubai do it…we move to uk/usa for better jobs/money, so why do we have a issue when we see another person from another country, making money in pakistan-

That's not nationalistic, that's plain racist. Am sure they'd be the first to complain if only white models, tv presenters got jobs in the western media.. There are soooo many desi girls nowadays doing tv work in the UK (esp on the news, there's often a desi girl presenting)..

^ You have a right to complain if something looks too ugly to you. It's the people who are complaining, not the job providers denying jobs.

Aren't there Indian movies that have starred Pakisani actors? (Zeba Bakhtiar, Mona Liza, etc). Aren't their faces displayed on billboards or posters in India? Apart from actors, Pakistani singers have also been recognized and appreciated in India.
I think our own actors are recognized and appreciated as well. Talent plays a role in this too. And about Nadia Khan......correct me if I'm wrong....but doesn't she or hasn't she interviewed Indian celebrities on her show? If she's so averse to Pakistanis appreciating Indian talent.....why does she even have a segment on her show that discusses Indian movies? I'm not overly fond of the woman.
Yes, we do move to other countries to earn a better living. As to why people make such a big deal about celebrities going away from their home countries........I think it's because....they're celebrities. They're famous...they're in the media...they're recognized...they're a huge deal (more so than the average Pakistani who is living abroad)...they're high profile....and because of these things....there could be a greater desire to identify that celebrity with the country of origin.
