Anyhows, ive got some thing sorted. Like my wedding and walima dresses my SIL is getting for me, ive just given her pics of outfts i like and the colour combos and letting her deal with the rest of it.
Ive not got a photograher sorted yet...my fiance should be sorting that out...are you getting a separate photographer to your hubby to be's?
tell me about your preps....how far have you got...venues arranged?
You have everything sorted.. you dont have much to worry about! :) I dont have anyone to arrange things for me..
I dont know if they are going to have a photographer or not but i'm so much into photography that i have to have a good photographer booked. For that i'm considering Afzl and AJ Studio. Lets see!!
Venue will be Tulip hotel i guess, have no clue about the walima venue in pindi. No clue about dresses, makeup :(

No i havn't but need to get a move on! i've just looked around local, the usual places in bham not seen anything that catches my eye thats different really. Its all bling and diamonds same stuff that everyone has worn already last year. I would prefer something more pakistani and i would love Bunto Kazmi if i could afford it lol

continued....wish i could've gone for a week or two for all the preps..but we planned the wedding quite suddenly...so not had any chance to go for wedding shopping!
I know ive given my ideas and colour combos to my SIL, but im still very worried about what my outfits will look like! I dunno what i will do if i dont like them! :S]
and yeah i know what you mean Lady Gaga about photographer...i want to get a good one too there are a few good ones around pindi area too you should find out abt them...are you sorting the photographer out then or the grooms side?
^ excited yes but stressed more ... since Farrah just gave us an update on price increases for everything...i m on a tight budget n dont want to compromise on anything :(
secondly i have til march to buy almost everything that i will bring to pakistan n i need my mom's opinion in everything and she will be in pakistan after march...that part is stressing me out a little.
there was a excel file posted earlier on GS n i have been using it for everything... his gift list n things to take ...n mA i m almost done with his shopping...just have to get his suits for the wedding :)...even got his watch already :)
the prices will be much better in pakistan...and u can always get a ready made bridal...they do have those avlb. how will the weather be in kashmir ard July... i m so scared abt the heat in June (lahore)

so i will have to get something from here.....girls i heard mongs in southall is really good they do tailor made aswell....

I just found another Lahore based photographer Usman Jamshed ( USMAN JAMSHED PHOTOS ) I really liked his work. He quotes 1,19,999 rupees for three days and the package looks good too. His shots and style is a bit casual and cool not really tacky like other photographers.
Girlsss.. pleasee look at his work and tell me if i should book him ..

hun i know a few girls who have got their wedding outfit from mongas and they didnt pay that much......it really varies on how much u want to pay
my friend is getting married in easter she got both her outfit from mongas for around £1000 each!!!!!
how much are u guys willing to spend on ur outfit?
