MQM learned long ago that they can never take on the Pashtuns in Karachi. If you look at all the fightings that went on in Karachi and count the casualities, Muhajir casualities were way, way higher than Pashtuns.
Even after May 12, all MQM leaders ran to kiss the feet of ANP leaders to stop any fighting further and gave them lot of bribes and Altaf Hussain started praiing Bacha Khan.

And plz don't be illogcal like Altaf supporters by suggesting that Jehadis fear MQM more than army.

Of course mohajirs were massacred by the combined forces of army, rangers, police, jihadis, punjabis/pashtuns etc. and yet MQM still lives to this day as the most popular party in the city. That is the true power and dead bodies of innocent mohajirs is proof of the struggle and bravery of mohajirs against an overwhelming force. I can't expect you to understand this.

One of the suicide bombers identified in Karachi was a Burmese Pakistani.

Some of the madarrasas in Karachi are known for notorious jihadi activities and they are not being run by pushtuns although a good of number of pushtuns study over there.

This does not surprise me one bit if true. Many of the local Burmese population are very radicalized and have been pro-Taliban for a long time.
