**Looking forward to renew ourselves once again… i am totally looking forward to the rozay , but i am dreading getting up so early and the not being able to sleep after wards to go to work.. its funny how we do everything so easily which we can not in any other month..
i remmember last ramazaan something really really bothered me, that was the bad breath… from the roza.. and at work.. even with brushing multiple times… i was literally talking to ppl with a hand on my mouth.. this wasnt pleasant… so one day i got so desparate that i brought ilaychi’s (cardamom)peels// and chew on them .. i felt horrible after doing that cose … it was like eating almost..
what really did help like majic was eating a pinch of salt in the end of sehar.. which is also sunnah… the salt did some majic that i had almost no problem///
i guess if anyone has this problem while fasting.. they should try the salt in sehar.. after eating.. **
this time around i’ll have a lab iftar time, so i’m just wondering how to deal with that otherwise i’m all pumped i’m more pumped abou tthis than going back to school

Can you do that "cardomom" thing? I know that technically you can but were you spitting the saliva, every few minutes.
I figured out that in my case, a good floss, brush and mouth wash after sehri, takes care of the problem (for most part). Plus, I take an over the counter heart burn/antacid tablet after every Sehri. Though, that is for heart burn but I think it helps in the breath problem, too.
But thanks about the pinch if salt advice, I will try that, this time
not really uni is not reducing class timings and i have such a schedule that U T R i have to stay till 9 in the night because of my advanced chemistry class and i will have to open roza with water or something cuz there will be a class going on then...otherwise i am excited and we are ready!
is beginning to do eid shopping considered preperation for Ramadan? In Pakistan, tailors are getting backlogged now with orders, prices of food items will go up unexplained, maybe to test the faithful even more..
chichoray videos and shows would start after iftaar and not before.
assorted militant idiots will once again tarnish the image of islam by carrying out atacks during Ramadan because they think they get to heaven even faster. so they are probably planning their crap as we speak.
ahhh, i miss the innocence that surrounded ramadan as a kid, InshaAllah by the time it arrives I would have shoved the cynical me aside, and focus more on what Ramadan means to me and not the crap that I mentioned above.
yay! I am really really excited :D. The fun of sehri and Iftaar and just the spirtual feeling. I love it!. really looking forward to it although it ll be a little tough with the uni schedule but then again that might also be fun! =D
Whats Ramadan?. I know that Rama is a hindu god. Is it some Hindu festival. I heard about it on CNN i think. Happy ramadan to all our hindu members :-)
