I order from them once in a while and I've always had a good experience. They have lots of unique stuff so you can rest assured that you won't be wearing the same thing everyone else is (yes, I know...it's a bit petty but we girls can be a bit vain...and that's ok ;)). They have good sales and excellent customer service reps. The clothing and shoes (at least the things I've ordered) are of good quality and have lasted a long time for me. I purchased one tunic from there about two years ago and I wear it frequently...a run through the gentle cycle in the washing machine and some light ironing and it looks as fresh and new as the day I received it in the mail.
On the few occasions I've had to return/exchange, the process is very smooth and quick. But honestly I haven't experienced their return process very much...I'm very careful when I purchase online and the reviews of each of the items on the site as well as the very helpful modcloth reps help me make an informed decision.
While they can be pricey, the quality and uniqueness of the items make most things well worth the cost.
