Whos is right?

I and my old man were infited to a party, where aprox 5/6 people sat aside and started talking about Islam. They were all grown up men in their 50-60 's
I found out that in that discussion about Islam, they all had their own stories about Islam about what was right and what was wrong in Islam
So the whole time they were arguing about it and when I asked them who was right they all said that they were right, cuz they all had 'studied ’ islamic books.
But when I asked them to prove what they were talking about, they told me to hush up and I didnt had the right to ask them to prove anything.

But the problem for me is now, that my english isnt that good and there almost no books in the dutch language about Islam.
And even If i had books the older generation will say that the books are wrong. So there is practically no solution to this matter is there?

Every paki says he/she is right and the other one is wrong.

You can start by studying the Holy Qur'an. I'm sure you can lay your hands on a dutch translation.

I'm sure inshallah you will be able to locate the Qur'an or english /dutch translation of it.
However, this is exactly what is cause of concern, we are so apart from eachother, even though the entire muslim ummah share a great bond. Why we accuse eachother of such things, is beyond me!
It's time we co-operated in the things which we all agree upon and debate in brotherly manner about those issues that we disagree in...

May Allah guide us to the good, to search for truth without any prejudice or earthly ambitions.

There is NO right, there is only perception-everyone-inc me-who suscribed to a set faith and stuff just lost the bigger picture-simply that we are aiming to get to the top by any means necessary.

Don’t let this small matter worry you. The only thing you can do is trying your best to understand the message of Islam and be willing to listen to all viewpoints.

About your problem with English, I suggest that you try to improve your language as best as you can. Still many religious books are translated to English compare to any other language.

Thanx guys, so according to u all, its best to read a translation of the Holy Quran?
I am searching for one, thanx guys

My thinking tells me

"Listen to your heart"

Your own heart. What you hear when you pray. Listen to what your heart tells you. Let your conscience be your guide.

Because.. God's light is there. All you have to do is listen.

<~~ No judgement here.

Listen to your heart.

Your heart and God will answer. Absolutely. A promise God gave.

Here are some online translations in various languages, including Dutch.
