When Princess Diana and Dodi died in the car accident .. that was a shocker .. couldnt believe for days .. Whole of England was grieving and i even saw a few people in tears .. It was quite emotional

Yes that was shocking.
Benazir Bhutto's death was also shocking to all of the Pakistanis. Another one was Zia ul Haq's death, which I have a very vague memory.

Assassination of Indira gandhi and rajiv gandhi were shocking for indians.....

btw after Nusrat Fateh ali khan's death ...there was a dialogue in indian sitcom Hum paanch that......"yeh to anu malik ke liye buri khabar hai" then someone asks "kyon?"..so the first actor answers "ab wo songs kiske copy karega":D

obv i was not even born at that time (1975) but i hve read alot abt him/his era , also my father use to tell me abt him as he himself has personally met him couple of times.
