From idealogical/philosophical perspective, who do you think is better muslim? A person who saw Prophet and then believed in him OR a person who was borned centuries after Prophet and whole heartedly believe in him??
Please, refrain from bringing in any hadiths/Quran’s Ayat or sayings from any Islamic figure.
I am interested in opinions only from logical/philosophical aspect.
Brother, as a Muslim, how can you say that do not bring in Qur'an and hadiths?! Surely it is well-known that the Sahaaba are greater than the other Muslims who have been, are, and will be till Qayaamat because of their closeness to Our Beloved Prophet the Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.
As Habib e Khuda alayhi salaato salaam said:
My generation is the BEST generation, then those after them, then those after them..[meaning of hadith shareef].
Also, philosophically as well, the closer a person is in practice and love of Our Prophet the better Muslim he is and no noe loved our Prophet more than the Blessed Sahaaba. In fact Imam e Rabbani Mujaddid e Alf al Thani Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi quds sirruhu once explained via demonstatrion to a person that the sahaaba experienced all the highest grades of wilaayat by simply being in the Noble Presence of Rasool Allah sal allahu alayhi wa sallam for one instant [and it takes the awliya years of mujahida to reach these stages--and yet the greatest wali cannot ever reach the status of the least great of thev Sahaaba [or the Tabba'een or the taba' tabb'aeen].
It is due to their closeness to Our Master The Holy Prophet sal allahu alayhi wa sallam.
This is a part of the Ahle Sunnah aqeedah [ie the greatness of the Sahaaba--see Imam Tahaawi's aweedah tahaawiyya which is the aqeedah of the ahle sunnah].

Thanks for your opinion, my being muslim has nothing to do with the subject of this thread. All I am looking for is a philosophical opinions, not any hadiths or anything else.
Your post suggests that seeing and believing is in higher regards than a blind faith. Does that imply God has different standards towards human beings???
Again, I am looking for more of a philosophical answer than any hadiths etc etc.
Imranz
I know the question was directed towards Abdal Mustafa, however I am taking the liberty to answer this since it provoked my interest.
Does that imply God has different standards towards human beings???
Yes, I believe so. It is merely my opinion. The reason being that Allah has made some people more beautiful than others, some more richer than others, some prophets while others followers, some with scientifically oriented while others having zilch aptitude in science, some are eloquent speakers while others mumble and grumble. The list goes on and on.
Allah is the Creator and Sustainer of this universe of which me and you are an insignicant pieces. He is the sole Master and He does what He deems right in His perfect wisdom and knowledge. He is the one who grants kingdom and he takes it away. He gives honor and he dishonors. He is the possessor of all that is good and beneficial. He strips the darkness out of night and strips the light of day. He brings the death out of living and life from death. He gives provision to whoever He likes as much as He wants. All things originate from his order (hukm) and everything returns unto Him. Nobody can dare to challenge his soverignty over the universe, even the angels that can blow this universe with one scream stand before him like the weakest slaves. What are humans to challenge his authority?

Masha'Allaah brother iqadeer... that was truly beautiful.
Jazaak'Allaah khairun.
Allaah is also the most Just and most Wise.
And it is through His Wisdom he has made some richer than others and some more beautiful than others. And it is through His Justice he has tested the more wealthy and more beautiful through trials and tribulations.
No doubt the Prophets are of a higher standard than any of us can ever imagine to be, but such esteem has not been granted without them facing much hardship, tests and tribulations ... and even then they did not loose eemaan in Allaah and the Herefater. This is precisely why they are on a far higher calibre then any of us will ever be.
... And Allaah knows Best.
