The person whose political opinions I respect most thinks its America who is doing it to cause a rift between Iran and Pakistan.
Man oh man…this has got to be the height of naaivete. ![]()
Irem,
If you ask any doctor, he will tell you that to better any ailment you first have to admit that there is a problem, be it psychological or physical. For example, if a person has blood pressure due to his bad habits like smoking & wrong diet but he refuses to admit that and keeps blaming things that are totally irrelevant than he will never be cured & die soon.
Similarly, Pakistan & Pakistanis have to admit that no one else from outside is coming in killing people. It is our own culture of intolerance that is breading this hatred & violence. As long as we never look at ourselves & keep looking for fault in other people, we will never get out of this hole.
If you ask me it was those god damn terrorists, they are runing it for everyone.. :(

Ahmadjee, I think I disagree with you here. You're underestimating us and you're being naive.
Pakistanis ARE peace loving and most Sunnis do NOT have anything against Shias and vice versa.
Its OK to realise our faults but we shouldn't turn a blind eye towards our enemies either.
wow americans are turning suicide bombers in karachi!
S.H.O.C.K.E.D!![]()
QUEER it might not be so DIRECT but yeah they can be the mind and the moolah behind the mission…
they could be financing it. just like they financed Saddam and OBL and Taliban a long time back. nomsayin ![]()
bibi, did the US finance the sipah-e-sahaba, or did the common people do it?
if anything, the US finances the pak govt. doesnt this sort of allegations without any hint of proof qualify as namak harami?
babaji, how do you or I know who financed the Sipah-e-Sahaba militant wing? Common Pakistanis dont have haraam ka paisa to waste on such things ya know. Pakistanis give to charities, yes they do, but not for killings.
PLEASE
The US finances Pak govt?
Ya right! :halo: What we’ve done for them, we’re getting peanuts in return. We ain’t operating on charity.
Irem,
Everyone talks through their own experience. You look at yourself & those who are around you and think; we all are decent peaceful loving people & can never think about doing anything violent. And so you go picking faults in something foreign.
I have a totally different experience of my life in Pakistan. The teachers who asked me to leave the Islamiya’at class because of my beliefs were not on CIA pay roll. Nor the gang who threatened to kill my brother walking back from school when he was only 9. The mob that came to bulldoze down the mosque in Rawalpindi were not paid by Halliburton. They were very local in their actions & attitudes.
How old are you ? seriously.
Stop acting wiser than me coz you’re not ![]()
Ahmadjee,
I am sincerely sorry to hear about those experiences your family had to face. Makes me sad and sharminda.
I’m not blaming you, and perhaps its easy for me to say this being a majority, but why do you or any other religious minority members have a victim/minority approach? We the Pakistani majority come forward and embrace you, we do, but you also have to embrace us and consider Pakistan your own too. Do not have it in your mind that you are a minority. You should consider yourself as much Pakistani as anyone else.
And by the way, my own extended family members, who are Sunni, have faced such experiences. Pakistani is generally lawless country after all.
But still, Pakistan is yours and ours, everyones, and we are all Pakistanis. Pakistani Qom Zindabad ![]()
If I said something offensive, I apologise, that was not my intent.
Cheers ![]()

Re: Who’s behind the killings of Shias in Pakistan?
Everytime I hear opinions like this my blood boils. How can people be so naive.
Anjuman-e-Sipah-e-Sahaba was set up under ISI’s tutelage in response to the Iranian revolution.
Irem, I wonder if you even read newspapers.
Before the Quetta attacks, a well known SSP maulana gave fiery speeches and a fatwa saying that people should do whaever they can to avenge those who insult the Prophet (PBUH). Anti Shia material was widely distributed.
There are many extremist madaris in Karachi where anti-Shia preaching goes on daily.
Jeez, I wonder what it will take for some people to admit the truth.
America is to blame, Israel is to blame, RAW is to blame but our people are innocent.

Re: Re: Who's behind the killings of Shias in Pakistan?
I'm not saying our people are all completely innocent. I'm just saying that there are foreign hands with vested interests involved in all this.
Irem, please stop posting

And I'm saying that you are wrong.
To this day I have not seen one shred of evidence of foreign involvement in Shia killings.
Everytime our govt says RAW/Mossad and then SPP/LJ people openly accept resonsibility.
What more do you people want? Videotape of the killers with Pakistani passports?
This hatred is being taught to kids in many madaris. Why is it hard to accept?
Irem,
You are more mistaken on minorities & their relation to Pakistan & their patriotism than you are about foreign involvement in the killings of Shia.
