I just wanted to post to say thanks for all the support and advice before my wedding a couple of months ago. I am now a married woman, which is ace! All the stress and worrying beforehand was for nothing- the main thing I remember from my wedding day itself was being the calmest person in the house and calming my mum and my sisters down whilst we were all getting ready in the morning. Of course that all changed when we got to the hall and all of a sudden I felt totally overwhelmed walking to the stage in front of so many people, heading towards my husband… then I caught his eye and he smiled at me and all of a sudden I was fine, more than fine, completely and utterly happy. My main advice would be not to stress (I know it’s easily said) but be happy and enjoy your day because honestly it goes so ridiculously fast! I spent the whole day grinning my little head off and joking with my husband and that was nothing to do with the table decorations I went crazy over, or the dress I worried about, or the make up or jewellery or any of those little things that seem so all consuming before the big day. I was just happy to be in a room full of our nearest and dearest family and friends, celebrating our happiness and that’s what I’ll never forget
