The other day I saw a package of actual whole wheat…little danay, I think grains? they’re very hard…how it used in regular cooking?

LOL , the whole wheat in ground to make flour , those danay are not used to make rotian or duble rotian in their original form and format. :D

Whole wheat in this form is used only for making haleem or khichra. There is no other use in desi cooking for it in this form.

gehuuN [wheat] is mixed with some other grains to make **khichRaa/Haleem**** :D** the wheat stalk is called **Khosha e gandum**** [widely used in urdu poetry to represent the unity in the nation [ittehaad e millat]...*that was the poetic significance of gehuuN/gandum/wheat* :)**
