Can the mod make this a poll?
Reading around Pakistan Affairs, I feel really disheartened and let down that despite history proving every political party that has been in power to have been an epic fail, people continue to support them blindly.
What sort of democracy is this? How do people remain lifelong jiyalas, MQM goons or Nawaz supporters when their own leaders are mostly lotas? Why are people not OPEN to any sort of change? Have the chants of Bhutto ever brought roti kapra and makaan to the poor, or have the bridges and underpasses of MQM and PML brought about a rule of law? And lastly, why don’t people like to give new parties like the PTI a chance? It couldn’t hurt, could it? It’s not like we can go any deeper into the ****hole.
Yes, I do the support the PTI. Not because I’m an Imran Khan fanboy but because I want CHANGE. A change in regime and a change in the same old players. Of course the same stubborn supporters of old parties love to call him the Imran Taliban and point out his immoral past yet the fact remains that he is the only honest candidate we have.
