Who would have thought...? II

that Musharaf would have survived this long after the crisis began.

Looks like the storm is over. Even Geo has toned down its rhetoric.

God bless Bhagwandas.

At least I can now watch Pakistani dramas with some fine acting, without the interruptions.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

But lawyers protests continue! And ARD also holding their protests on 26th.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

Storm in a tea cup :)

Re: Who would have thought…? II

Have you seem Lion walking calmly surrounded by lesser beasts like dogs, hyenas, and baboons in numbers barking and shouting, trying to make Lion leave? Did anyone ever question the survival of Lion when dealing with these lesser beasts? True, when lesser beast do find courage to join and attack the Lion, Lion might not survive, but that day do not come until Allah will so.:halo:

It seems that Allah is happy with the Lion at the moment and job of lesser beasts are to bark and shout for a while, then go quite until Lion makes another move and they feel uneasy.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

^Could very well be but then it could also be calm before the storm.. Personally I think its lot of noise and people trying to exploit and get maximum political milage.

Re: Who would have thought…? II

Storm is due to media freedom, nothing else. Government has done nothing wrong in sending the reference of CJ to SJC but spin doctors in payroll of corrupts have turned things into mini storm. In past, media was too controlled and such little things would not have seen the day light

Here is story of Hamid Mir. Just look at the level of past media control and you could realise what Pakistan was before Musharraf came to power. Even newspaper could not have dared to put a minor news against the rulers in power.

I wrote minor news, as what Hamid Mir tried to put in newspaper was minor news of corruption when compared with mega corruption these crooks (NS and BB) used to do.

Mir joined the Daily Jang (Lahore) in 1987 and worked there as sub-editor, reporter, feature writer and edition in charge. In 1994, he broke the submarines purchase scandal in Daily Jang. Some close friends of Asif Zardari (husband of then Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto) were involved in that scandal, along with some Navy officials. Mir lost his job the day his article was published.

In 1996, Mir became the editor of the Daily Pakistan in Islamabad, making him the youngest editor of any national Urdu newspaper in the history of Pakistani journalism. He lost his job again in 1997, when he wrote an article in the Daily Pakistan about the alleged corruption of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Also in 1997, he joined Daily Ausaf (Islamabad) as founding editor.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

Everything takes time, it is the start of the end. Lumari jub apnay aap ko sher samjhnay lug partee hai toh uss ka hashar bura hee hota hai.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

ehsan bhai, but start of the end of 'what' .....that is the question.
every dayis the end of something and the start of something and the start of the end of something, but what.

with larry moe and curly standing in the sidelines smacking their lips for power...I am afraid that it may be the end of us all :)

Re: Who would have thought…? II

yep i guess that must have been about the same time he started getting funded from ‘foreign intelligence’ sources..

Re: Who would have thought…? II

What you mean? Are you doubtful of Hamid Mir reporting or corruption of Ganja Nawaz and Baighairat Nazir? :halo:

If you are doubtful of corruption by Ganja Nawaz or Baighairat Nazeer, forget Pakistani media that are full of propagandas, I can find you stories of their corruption in British Media.

British media is prone to getting sued and could be fined heavily if they are found guilty of reporting wrongly, and thus always have proof what they publishing when publishing corruption stories, and they are always ready to provide proof in court if they get sued.

‘Ganja N’ and ‘Baigharat N’ were not dictators that they would not worry about defamation. When a person is in politics, defamation stories regarding their corruption or life affairs in any media is most damaging and no politician would let these stories get published and would not sue the publisher if they are not guilty.

Since British Media published corruption stories of both Ganja Nawaz and Baighairat Nazeer and both these goons did not find courage to sue the newspapers concerned (well, British television also showed heir corruption documentary on the channel and these corrupt goons could not dared to sue), confirms their corruption.

As for Baigharat Nazeer and her crook husband Zardari, their name appeared in American senate report as mega corrupts (along with international level three other mega corrupts) that have used American banks to move their corrupt money to their Swiss account, hence report recommended American Senate to enact law so that American banks could not be used for such illegal activities. It shows the level of corruption by these mega corrupts that American senate take their example to change American Law.

Amazing thing is that, the person who was made in charge of doing investigation of these four mega corrupt groups was our Present Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and the bank was City bank (one corrupt group amongst those corrupt mega groups was group of Baigharat Nazeer, her mother Nusrat Bhutto, and her crooked husband Zardari).

** These corrupt crooked goons (NS and BB) have defamed Pakistan all over the world and when they get elected, these two goons defame the intelligence and character of Pakistani voters too. To vote for them corrupt crooked goons (NS and BB) means one is mentally retarded and corrupt, as only mentally retard or corrupt would vote such corrupt into power.**

Re: Who would have thought...? II

Musharraf is not going anywhere. The people of Pakistan are either too busy making money in the booming economy or otherwise surviving. They are certainly not inclined to come out on the streets for past leaders now living in rich abodes in London or Dubai, and who failed them previously. It is rare in any country's history that people want rid of one ruler to replace it with earlier ones.

Plus, the army are solidly behind him, as are the international community, and as long as the economy remains good Musharraf will survive whatever happens.

That said Musharraf must decide if he wants to continue to the excellent progressive policies he has pursued until recently, for which he will need new political partners. Otherwise he will be stuck with many of the present people who as the recent events have shown are a reactionary and intolerant bunch. I hope he chooses the former, and then we can get past this sorry episode.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

Yes, I agree. Musharaf is not going anywhere.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

u r right.

This 'aalsi' is just making posts' to support his dictator and his MQM

everybody knows things r only going to get worse for the dictator, with the end coming

Army, US, and rest of Pakistan including members of PML-Q are already planning for it

Re: Who would have thought...? II

RD, you cannot call someone a dictator and at the same time yourself oppress other people's opinion. Typical Pakistani attitude. No one elses opinion matter other than thou? :)

Re: Who would have thought...? II

Army? By keeping a deliberate blind eye on the carnage being done on its stronghold (Shahre-e-Faisal) in Karachi? Just creating much hatred for Urdu speaking people in Pakistan? By allowing MQM ghundas to do whatever they wanted to do on that day?

Re: Who would have thought...? II

since when? as usual u r not making sense

Re: Who would have thought...? II

That was a direct order, 'courtesy' of Musharraf and his Murderous Quami Movement

Re: Who would have thought...? II

But why army let it done? In 20 years of MQM's history they were never able to come out of their so called stronghold. Shahre-e-Faisal never saw such an act of violence in Karachi's history. These areas have always been well controlled by agenices.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

Errr...Who said this. This 'aalsi' is just making posts' to support his dictator and his MQM.

Just so that you are aware, more members of my family have been killed in Karachi in acts of terrorism than you would care to know. So please take your hollier than thou attitude and stop labeling people as terrorist supporter etc. just because they offer alternate view.

Re: Who would have thought...? II

This clearly exhibits that we are not going to get rid of army rule in this country. Army will remain a major factor in determing the fate of this country. Only the face - Mushraaf will be replaced!
