the top that I once said I will get…a Bench one that looks very similar to the Pakistani cricket top…I got it and was wearing it today at uni it worked,…cuz everyone knew why I was wearing it and alot of people really liked it there was a few couple of other people who were also wearing pakistan tops…but funnily…no1 was wearing the Indian one…even though theres the same number of Indians at my uni.
but as my course (and genearlly the whole of the uni)…is roughly 50% pakistanis and 50% Indians…I got some mean looks from some of the Indians. this one sikh guy actually gave me a dirty look…like a mean look
anyway, I know this is a disgrace and I should know…but who won todays match? I have been at uni all day and have been revising for an exam that I just came out off hence I dont know what happened with the cricket
haha... around this time last year (well early May) I had started teaching a 4th year course, and on the very first day of class, two students walked in with India cricket shirts. Pissed me off soooo much but heh I couldn't do anything about it.
This was even more surprising because I teach at a Uni. where the majority of people are white (around 80%) and it was just strange to see someone wear Indian shirts cuz it didn't make any sense whatsoever.
Khair, there are only a handful of Pakis here and dunno if anyone will bother wearing Pak shirts etc. but that'd be totally kewl! :)
well if its an Indian staring, I'd smile back at them with a "Feir??!" :) impression
... for everyone else who cares! I'd actually go around telling them why I'm wearing the shirt etc.
^ yeah I wish I could... if I were a student I totally would too :) I'd love to give that feir look to an Indian - just hoping we win tonight's match inshaAllah.
yep - I teach f-t at a Univ. while pursuing my Ph.D. at another Univ.
