I know the defeat is still fresh but I was wondering who people will root for now?

As long as AUS don’t win, it’ll be alright.

But I’m rooting for Bangladesh. The way they fought against India was remarkable. Insha Allah, they will progress to Super Eight.

I shall be rooting for Sri Lanka from now on. Fieldingwise they are the best Asian side. Their batting has quality and depth in it and their bowling is penetrative (Murali, Vaas and Malinga)

I've always maintained my stance of rooting for brown teams... so my support is with the following teams in order from 1st choice:

Bangladesh ; India ; Sri Lanka ; West Indies.

But Umar bhai, only Sri Lanka have a realistic chance of actually going far and winning the tournament as they are quite well settled.

I don't care that Ireland beat us today. We did it to ourselves, so I have no ill feelings towards Ireland. However, because the match against Zimbabwe was EXTREMELY entertaining, I will be definitely rooting for Ireland. So here's my order of preference now:

Canada
Ireland
Sri Lanka

Don't give a darn about the rest.
